wild burdock plant ☘

(( I harvest the deep roots and green leaves to make skin salves, diuretics, and detoxifying teas, other culinary uses include soups, stir-fries, seasoned vegetables rice and the traditional Japanese side dish Kinpira Gobo ))

(( ensure you can accurately identify the plant. Burdock can be easily confused with the deadly nightshade (Atropa belladonna), which is highly toxic ))

(( burdock may improve insulin sensitivity and support blood sugar management ))

(( Diuretic Properties: Herbalists use burdock root teas and tinctures as a natural diuretic to help the body flush out excess fluids and toxins ))
