At the opening ceremony of the Danish Parliament the 1st of October 2019 - the newly elected Danish Prime Minister, (Mette Frederiksen), starts laughing, and ends up having most of the Parliament laughing, as she explains how one of the first acts of the new government, with broad support of the entire Parliament, had been to buy 4 elephants from Cirkus Arena and Cirkus Trapez.
(after legislation putting a ban on exotic animals in Cirkus).
The elephants is named Ramboline, Lara, Djungla, and Jenny.
What made the story extra funny, was the fact that the Danish State got a Camel named Ali as a bonus, because Ramboline and Ali have a romantic relationship, and it would just be wrong to separate the two lovebirds...
