NSW Police Minister says he's happy for officers to strip-search his children | ABC News

As pressure mounts on New South Wales police over strip searches, the state's police minister made a startling declaration.

David Elliott says he'd let his own children be stripped naked if police thought it was necessary.

New figures show more than 120 girls, some as young as 12, have gone through the process in the past three years.

The Greens say the policy is tantamount to state-sanctioned child sexual assault.
