The George Harrison Song That Knocked Paul Off No. 1
Leírás
George Harrison turned a personal prayer into one of the biggest hits of his solo career.
The earliest known demo was recorded at New York’s Plaza Hotel in late 1971. By 1973, George had built the finished recording around a small group of musicians and his unmistakable slide guitar.
Then it reached number one in America and knocked Paul McCartney and Wings’ My Love down to number two.
