The Black Sabbath Song That Had to Be Renamed
Leírás
Tony Iommi came up with the riffs while Black Sabbath were playing a club in Switzerland to almost nobody. Geezer Butler turned his fear of the Vietnam War into lyrics comparing military leaders to witches.
The record label thought the original title, Walpurgis, was too satanic. The song became War Pigs, one of the best-known tracks from their 1970 album Paranoid.
