Season 2: Episode 4 "Good and Lucky" | ALL IN: The Road to the Classic

As the final weekend to qualify for the Breeders’ Cup approaches, connections from coast-to-coast prepare for The Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont Park and the Awesome Again at Santa Anita Park.

At Belmont, Jeff Bloom battles his nerves as Midnight Bisou aims to remain undefeated in her 2019 season. Although confident in his filly, Bloom knows that nothing in horse racing is a guarantee. Back in California, jockey Mike Smith watches Midnight Bisou while he prepares to ride McKinzie in the Awesome Again later that day.

We also meet Rosie who runs Clocker’s Corner at Santa Anita Park and has been working at the racetrack for over 40 years. Rosie knows everyone’s order and everyone knows Rosie. She’s a huge fan of Bob Baffert who stops by to order a coffee.

Trainer Peter Eurton and his daughter Britney reflect on a life built around a shared passion for horse racing. While Dad is a professional trainer, daughter is an on-air personality for horse racing coverage on TVG and NBC Sports. Peter Eurton trains Draft Pick, an underdog in the Awesome Again Stakes where Bob Baffert’s horse McKinzie is the favorite.

Bill Mott, Shug McGaughey and Todd Pletcher are among the other trainers featured in Episode 4 “Good and Lucky”. Find out how the final Win And You’re In races play out as the Breeders’ Cup Classic quickly approaches.
