Running to Grant Wishes for Sick Children

It was a great start to October with 58 runners joining us on Margaret Island for a great cause. Originally FirstMed were going to donate 1000ft per runner to Csodalámpa Alapítvány but after seeing everyones enthusiasm supporting the cause in the rain they decided to double the offer and donate 116000ft in the end.
Fastest runners on the day were Tóth Lehel (18:24.7) who smashed his previous best time by 1:34, fastest female was Kelly Tanser who completed the 5K in 21:00.7. Thanks to Firstmed they took home 5000ft BB'z Bar & Grill vouchers for their efforts.
A special mention also goes out to Opitz Gábor who broke his 3 year standing personal best by 20 seconds in October. He runs every month and it was great to see his perseverance pay off with a new PB in October.
We hope you JOIN us again next month for Sziget Run 5K November and set new 5k PB's.
