Riot Grrrl is Back! Its History & The New Scene
Leírás
Riot grrrl was a musical, political, and cultural movement that claimed space for women in punk, and gave us phrases like "girl power" and "girls to the front." What happened to it? And what's the state of riot grrrl today?
I researched the original movement and interviewed some modern riot grrrls to find out more about the rebirth riot grrrl has been experiencing over the last 5 or so years. So we'll hear from these artists about why riot grrrl is still relevant, and what new bands we should keep an eye on.
Want to hear more from the bands I spoke with?
