DEC31 sfl NOT a Violinist - now its an alcoholic, embezzler.

Mark Stewart goes to a harder hypothetical concening the worth of humans. Response to a defender of abortion....Suppose i  wake up one day and I'm attached to a famous violinist with a fatal kidney problem, whose survival depends on his staying attached to my circulatory system for the next nine months.  There is no other way to save his life; if i unplug him, he will die. Does the burden on me give me  the right to unplug him?  
Easy answer, it's "no".  See my other video if you don;t think it's an easy answer.  And if it changes your mind, share it with 10 friends.
Now the harder hypothetical:.the person you suddenly are attached to who will die if unplugged is not a famous violinist.  And not now even a good person.  He's an embezzler.  Until  he was felled by this kidney problem, he mde weekly thefts, he's had  multiple victims whose life savings he stole.  
Now i have a harder time.  If i'm convinced that he will not change his ways, i believe he should die.  Stealing from others is not what God built humans for, and incorrigible thiefs should either drop dead or be put to death.
No, i alone can't decide this.  This is where peers need to be involved, and if 12 jurors say i must keep him alive, then i dutifully comply.   If i can bring him to a jurisdiction where there's a death penalty for embezzling then, after a trial period when he has perhaps 3 weeks to stop his scheming, on penalty of death, if he doesn't reform, I cut the cord.
And now, a still harder hypothetical:  What about the alcoholi?  For the last 20 years he has chosen to stay on the bottle, rarely working, bumming money off others, residing in shelters that others pay for and never choosing to get better.  
Now he has the kidney ailment and is attached to me.  If during the next nine months I unplug, he will die.  He has committed no theft, but he's done nothing we can discern to help a fellow man or even help himself.
Here is a harder situation.  God has not commanded humans to put anyone to death without being offensive.  God has given me a situation that's burdensome.  And repulsive, to sustain a neer-do-well.  I am open to theology about what to do.  My lean is also the three and out: I tell my new companion to shape up instantly.  I give him three chances; i bring in my own kind of counselors, ones who will invoke God in ways he's never heard before.  If he still chooses to go back to the bottle, it's strike one.  Perhaps we invoke some shock therapy, but if he gets on the bottle again, it's strike two, and with it a decoupling of the tube to show him I'm deadly serious.  I'll recouple again, but if there's a third offense, I let him go.
I can help five other people, instead of put in the futile effort to save this man.  Alcoholism is a mental state.  Yes, chemicals are giving the alcoholic bad impulses, but they are overcomable with will power.  If you don't want to engage the willpower that God gave you, I'm not feeling the obligation to sacrifice for you.
In my retirement I'd like to study theology.   There's certainly a lot that God and man have to instruct me.  For now, at age 55, that's my holding.
