Rapsody - Serena - Live Performance (Vevo Ctrl.)
What happens when you connect a fierce mind with a big heart? Rapsody can show ya. A thoughtful writer from the get-go, the esteemed MC is always reminding fans of her artistic message - Culture Over Everything. With a parade of incisive videos to her credit, she's continually refined her approach – there’s more authority in her voice with each passing year, and she never shies away from political opinions, identity issues and commentary on race. Her new album 'Eve' is dedicated to black women icons, cultural heroines who have impacted Rapsody's POV. They stretch from Ibtihaj Muhammad to Sojourner Truth, and her nod to Serena Williams, especially this live version for our Ctrl series, is pure fire.
