It's not every day we have hip-hop royalty in the house.Our Brooklyn Ctrl studio took on a rarified air when Common strolled through the door a few weeks ago. As usual, the Chicago hero was ready to do business. His new 'Let Love' album is teeming with the social activism, cultural philosophy, and insightful rhymes that have marked his work since his dropped his '92 debut, 'Can I Borrow A Dollar?.' Common brings a variety of experiences to the mic each time he takes the stage. From acting on the big screen to reading poetry in the Obama White House, a deep versatility marks his work.
