NAZARETH — THE LINEUP BEHIND "LOVE HURTS" AND "HAIR OF THE DOG"
Dan McCafferty – Lead Vocalist
Manny Charlton – Guitarist
Pete Agnew – Bassist
Darrell Sweet – Drummer
Formed in Dunfermline, Scotland, 1968, from the remnants of local band The Shadettes. This lineup held together for 22 years and delivered Razamanaz (1973), Loud 'n' Proud (1973) — featuring their reworked cover of "Love Hurts" — and Hair of the Dog (1975), the title track of which became one of hard rock's most enduring anthems.
