Coming up playing regional hits in Bogata cafes, Manuel Medrano had plenty of time to hone his performance skills. Later he took those skills to YouTube and applied himself to cool cover tunes. Then he started singing his own stuff and his career kicked-in. "Afuera del Planeta," his first independently released single made a dent. Everything took off after that. His 2015 smash "Bajo el Agua" has clocked more than 300M video views at this point, and Latin music fans adore his approach. We invited Medrano in for a guitar-and-voice spin through his new "Buena." It's gorgeous.
