Gone West – “Confetti” (Studio Performance)
It's great when a gaggle of individual artists throw down as a cooperative band, aligning squad goals and benefiting from the skills of each participant. That's what happened with Gone West, the impressive new amalgam of Colbie Caillat, Jason Reeves, Justin Kawika Young, and Nelly Joy. Thought the draw on career roots in Hawaii and LA, Nashville was the nexus where they all unite. The harmony-driven songs that comprise their debut will make pop-country fans swoon. "To have four people who were essentially solo artists and writers on their own, come together to write together, that’s cool to me," Reeves has told an interviewer while citing the power of teamwork. The foursome hit the Vevo studio and rolled through a sweet version of their glad-to-see-you-go anthem, "Confetti."
