Located about 100 ft below the base of the Great Pyramid, deep in the center of the Subterranean Chamber, is “The Pit.” According to engineer Christopher Dunn, it may have housed the equipment that provided the priming pulses that supplied the chemicals that were pumped into the Northern and Southern Shafts of the “Queen's Chamber.” Join me to explore it this December on our Egypt tour
