Govt will continue to adjust CPF Basic Retirement Sum to ensure it stays relevant: Josephine Teo

Manpower Minister Josephine Teo said the government will continue to adjust the Central Provident Fund Basic Retirement Sum (BRS) to ensure it remains relevant. The BRS is meant to give monthly payouts in retirement for basic living expenses. The amount members must save in the BRS differs for each cohort to account for inflation and changes in standards of living.
