Zahara Jolie-Pitt is now Zahara Marley Jolie. The 21-year-old daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie filed a petition for a name change in the Superior Court of California on April 28, 2026. She is the latest of the Jolie-Pitt children to distance herself from her father.

Maddox, 24, filed to change his surname from Jolie-Pitt to just Jolie last month. Shiloh, 20, had her name changed to remove Pitt in 2024. Vivienne, 17, has been using just Jolie as her last name in public, including in the Playbill for Broadway's The Outsiders, which she co-produced with Angelina. Pax, 22, and Knox, 17, have not publicly filed for name changes.

The family has been fractured since 2016. Brad Pitt was investigated for child abuse after a heated confrontation with Maddox on a private plane. No charges were filed, and Brad was cleared. But Angelina Jolie filed for divorce days later. Their divorce was finalized in December 2024.

Angelina now has full custody of the remaining minor children. Brad has visitation rights. An insider told PEOPLE that Brad "has virtually no contact with the adult kids."
