This is Atapana Taliaoa a 29 year old male, being escorted by police to prison where he will serve 9 years behind bars for attempted murder.
Too many young lives are being wasted due to alcohol and bad association, Justice Leiataualesa Daryl Clarke has made a statement saying that Samoa is founded on faith, family and village, and that there is a need for churches, pastors, families and village leaders to identify and support young troubled men affected by alcohol and associating with the wrong circle of friends before they commit a crime.
He stated that they are in desperate need for positive guidance in life.
