impossible not to move to with a story
that's sad. This track wraps generational
grief, spotlighting Manipur’s protests and
the lives taken by the system for decades.
It's not just regarding one incident but
many. Paying homage to the lives lost
during protests, fake encounters and
failure of the system, the song is set for its
release date on June 18, also a tribute to
the 18 lives lost during the protest on
June 18, 2001, also known as The Great
Uprising Day of Manipur. It’s sad, it’s
satirical, it’s confusing on purpose. For the
people still fighting, and for the ones who
can’t anymore.
