Willing and Able - Charles Wesley Godwin | Live First Dance | Willowbrook Weddings | Mike Medved

Maggee and Jake’s first dance at Willowbrook Weddings was one of my favorite moments of the season.

I performed “Willing and Able” by Charles Wesley Godwin live on acoustic guitar and vocals as they shared their first dance outside on the patio. The moment already felt special in real time, but what made this video even more meaningful was seeing Alyssa Vanston Photography step into the frame throughout the song, doing what she does best.

Rather than cutting around those moments, I wanted this video to become a small spotlight on Alyssa’s work. Throughout the video, you’ll see her photographs appear alongside the actual moments as they happened. It is such a cool reminder of how much intention, movement, and artistry goes into documenting a wedding day.

This wedding was part of a full-day music experience with Mike Medved Weddings and Events, including live ceremony music, live cocktail hour music, a live first dance, DJ/MC reception coverage, and a live final song of the night.
