WHY I QUIT DRINKING ALCOHOL: My Struggle to Get Sober in College + Advice for Giving Up Alcohol

I quit drinking alcohol just 6 months after turning 21. In this video, I share why I decided to finally quit drinking at 21, my struggle to get sober in college, and advice for giving up alcohol. The college binge drinking environment allowed me to hide my drinking problem in plain sight. I denied that I had a drinking problem for so long because I wasn't even of legal age to drink. I could see how much alcohol was damaging my life and yet I could not give it up. About 8 months ago, I made the decision to quit drinking for good. It has been the hardest, yet most rewarding experience of my life. I have struggled, slipped up, and even relapsed, but I am now just over 6 months sober and could not be happier. Quitting drinking in college is definitely not the norm, but I have been learning how to navigate my new life without alcohol.
