Nico Semsrott (Verts/ALE). – Mr President, the EU is in deep crisis and so am I. I have binge—watched this show for the past few months and I’m not amused. It’s not getting enough clicks, the engagement rate is pathetic and, in general, there is a lack of good content. I want to give you all here direct feedback.

First, the storylines don’t make any sense: in one episode we are saying the EU stands for peace and in the next we are rushing to build up our military. Second, the characters are hard to follow: I don’t know any of you. Third, the message keeps getting lost.

We should take a lesson from the Eurovision Song Contest. People pay attention to naked people dancing. If ratings don’t improve, the whole thing will soon be cancelled.
