WE CAMPED IN VIETNAM (not recommended for children)

We camped in the south of Vietnam, right by the sea in the small resort town of Ho Tram.

Phi Lao is the perfect place to camp if you are doing a road trip around Vietnam. The camping resort provides the tents, blankets, a camp fire etc. for you so you don't need to worry about bringing your own camping gear. This is also one of the only campsites in Vietnam, Ho Tram so it's definitely a unique experience. It's also super cheap for a travelers budget!

And if you are travelling with children, we tested it out by camping with our toddler. We recommend staying in the hotel right next to the camping ground if you are family travelers if you've never camped before (but then this was our first ever camping experience and our toddler is scared of his own shadow).
