UK has provided 'constructive' Ireland customs checks proposals to EU, Boris Johnson says

U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Tuesday that the government had provided "constructive" and "far-reaching" proposals to the European Union over post-Brexit customs checks.

He said the checks could be "absolutely minimal" and wouldn't involve new infrastructure.

Johnson was also asked about an allegation he had inappropriately touched a female journalist and denied the accusation once more, saying he wants to focus on his domestic agenda and delivering Brexit.
