信任的距离最短
記得小時候，有一次父親帶我去看馬戲，看見那些在高空中飛來飛去的人抓住對方送過來的鞦韆，萬無一失，我真是佩服極了
他們不害怕嗎
我問父親，他們不害怕，因為他們知道對方靠得住
最疼愛我的父親轉過頭來輕聲說
是的，生命中不容出錯，彼此都必須顧及對方的安全
我們生活也是如此
人活在世上需要信任別人，猶如需要空氣和水
我們如果不信任別人，對人便無法誠懇；我們如果戴著面具，不能真誠對人，試想那會有多麼拘束和難受
一天到晚都提防著別人，會害得我們心神疲憊
要想受人尊敬和愛戴，你就得先信任別人
有了信任，才會有愛
信任是愛的前提
心理學家說：我們不但可以防護別人，而且在許多方面也會影響別人
信任或防範，能鑄就別人的性格
如果和信任我們的人相處，我們會放心自在
記得有個故事，英國南部有一監獄，獄長的太太差不多每天都到監獄里去
犯人活動的時候，她的孩子往往和他們一起玩，她也和犯人交談
別人總是提醒她提防點兒，她說她並不怕，也不擔心
因為她信任那些犯人，她所表現出的一切言行都是真誠而又善意的，犯人們喜歡她，他們可以與她平等地交談、說笑，心與心是暢通的，沒有什麼隔膜，他們相處得很好
當有一天她突然病故後，消息立即傳遍了監獄，犯人們都聚集在大門口表示哀悼
看守長看見那些犯人默默無語難過的樣子，便把獄門敞開
從早到晚，犯人們都排著長隊到停放遺體的地方去向她作最後的告別
他們的四周並無高牆、電網，但是他們沒有一個人逃跑或做出什麼出格的事來，告別之後，他們都回到了監獄里
這就是犯人們對這位老太太表示出的敬愛，因為她在世時曾經信任他們
時至今日想起這個故事，我依然被這個故事感動得熱淚盈眶
這就是信任的力量，也是信任的魅力所在
人與人之間需要彼此的信任，而彼此相處得融洽與否，全靠信任的程度
老師要是能使落後的學生相信他對他們滿懷好意，那麼，他的教育就成功了
精神病學專家往往要把主要精力和時間放在勸導精神錯亂的病人信任他們之上，只有這樣才能夠動手治療
人對人必須懷有好感，彼此信任，個人的工作和生活才不至於過得缺少生機和快樂
信任是快樂的源泉
那麼
我們為什麼這樣難以互相信任呢
這是因為我們害怕，害怕上當受騙、害怕遭到別人的拒絕或嘲笑，於是，逢人且說三分話，未可全拋一片心
在交往中戴著面具，虛假的親熱、用心的設防、無緣的猜疑、盲目的算計、糊塗的封閉
信任別人的人，日常待人接物是與眾不同的
有一次我聽到一個人形容他所認識的一個女人：她見到人便伸出兩隻手來迎接，仿佛是在說：‘我從內心深處信任你
和你在一起，我就覺得非常高興
’而當你離開她的時候，也會感到心裡非常愉快，甚至有種依依不捨的感覺
不相信別人，就很難做成大事
你發出了怎樣的信息，就得到怎樣的回報
你希望別人怎樣待你，你就怎樣待人——真情付出，心靈交會
所以，心與心之間最短的距離就是信任
換言之，心與心之間最大的距離就是不信任

I remember a story about a prison in the south of England. The warden's wife went to the prison almost every day
Her children used to play with the prisoners when they were around, and she talked to them

This was the respect the prisoners showed for the old woman, who had trusted them while she was alive
Even today, when I think of this story, I am still moved to tears by it
This is the power and charm of trust
People need to trust each other, and whether they get along well with each other depends on the degree of trust
