Triangle wave oscillator 11 KC - 127 KC with a few components a 555 Chip demo & schematic
Leírás
Circuit of a very easy to make triangle wave oscillator, working with the famous “555” chip between 11 KC and 127 KC. Dont forget to solder a wire between 2-6 and 4-8. Video not made for children.
Works with only a few components. To make it in a definite way: mount the 47 K potentiometer on the front.
With higher value capacitors (higher than 820 P, watch video) it will work on a lower frequency band (more info in the video).
And: with a change of the 3K3 resistor (say: make it 1K) you can go to 200 KHz, though there is a kind of “over oscillation” in that case (with that 820 P capacitor, perhaps not with higher value capacitors instead of that one)
Source of information: “Linear Data Book” issued by “National Semiconductors” in 1976, page 9-23 and further.
With a filter (L-C or R-C) it is probably possible to change that triangle wave into a (somewhat) sine wave, thus making this circuit more usable for other applications.
Developing that filter will be a next project.

My books about electronics are available via the website from “Lulu”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there.

There is an important video via which you can buy a document where I give links to many of my video’s, published between 2010 and 2018.

My books are also available via Barnes and Noble and via Amazon.
Regarding all my video’s: I constantly keep them actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. That is the source, and search there. When my video’s are reproduced or re-edited on other websites/channels you can not (!) be sure about the original content (=really working electronics with real properties for a purpose) and important adaptations to the circuits.
Be aware of that, I saw on the internet my circuits reproduced in a poor or not proper way.
I also found that people probably republish my circuits under phantasy names and/or with phantasy properties, not knowing electronics. Sometimes they want to find gold with them. I take distance from all these fake claims; I cannot help that it happens, sorry. Upload 3 december 2019.
