Terry Gou canvasses for People First Party in Taichung

Terry Gou hit the streets of Taichung on Tuesday to campaign for the People First Party. The billionaire has thrown his staunch support behind the party, which had nominated two of his aides for legislator-at-large. Gou said that this support doesn''t mean he has abandoned the Taiwan People''s Party. He said he wants both parties to make inroads in the Legislative Yuan to keep bigger parties in check. With a baby girl in tow, Gou posed for a photo and urged the government to implement his vision of state-funded care for children up to age 6.
