Lyrics:

You didn't make it very far
Past the desk and the tie around your neck
This was never a home for me, just a draining way to rack up debt
If i close my eyes and start a new life
I’ll leave you and the past behind
Driving down the coast line into a new life that never stays

Don't walk away, we're not done with this yet
Is this where you wanted to be?
For days I lost my head, you proved your point
You'll find ways to take credit for all of this

Yeah I'll remember to forget
What does this matter anyway?

Don't walk away, we're not done with this yet
Is this where you wanted to be?
For days I lost my head, you proved your point
You'll find ways to take credit for all of this

Can't go back to the days where everything we wanted didn't exist
We didn't know it yet.

It won't be long until it's gone
Just like your friends, always trying to forget
Driving down the coast line into a new life that never stays

Don't walk away, we're not done with this yet
Is this where you wanted to be?
For days I lost my head, you proved your point
You'll find ways to take credit for all of this
