Leaders from the BRS and several Dalit organizations have demanded the restoration of security for former IPS officer RS Praveen Kumar following the reported reduction in his security cover. BRS leaders staged a protest in Chevella, Ranga Reddy district, urging the Telangana government to restore his previous security arrangements. Separate protests were also held near the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue in Nacharam, Secunderabad, where Dalit leaders criticized the decision and called for the immediate reinstatement of his security, citing his long years of public service.
