Recovery Elevator - How to Make an Alcohol Addiction Dissolve

When we take energies out of the past and future, this can dissolve an addiction. When we stop regularly thinking about the past and the sequences of events that got us here, then an opportunity to heal arrives. Only when we stop thinking about a state of wholeness or peace that only exists in the future, do we have a chance to find joy at this moment.

When our energies are centered, we leave a state of fight or flight. We then begin healing, creating, digesting, laying down restorative tissues in the body, and departing from addictions.

Lately, I've been using the mind to locate where discomfort resides in the body. Then I squeeze that area with awareness or send all my energy to that region. I then breathe into that area and let the body do the rest.

What I'm NOT doing, is using the mind the "figure" out a what series of events led me to the uncomfortable emotion, or how to make it "go away" in the future. 10 out of 10 times, this makes things works. This is us trying to "think" ourselves out of stress and addictions. This simply doesn't work.
