This was a long time coming after sitting on this idea for a year. Now with the My little Pony series coming to a close it only seemed appropriate to make this around its end. A nice little bookmark I think. It's been a fun little ride, even if the show itself lost track of the initial vision along the way and had episodes that were exactly what Lauren Faust wanted to avoid in the first place.

To be honest, the brony community has been one of (of not THE) best online communities with a lot of creative, talented people contributing and helping newer talented people hone their skills and passions. Something that can't really be said of most modern online communities based around a show (looking at you Steven Universe). The cringe parts of the fandom are not any worse than the Sonic fandom. The adult art is nothing new to the internet, though I agree that it was gratuitous for the short time the fandom has existed and the flurry of unsolicited pony content in forums and discussions that had nothing to do with the show rightfully stirred up scorn from people who had no interest in the show. Despite that, the amount of content created by bronies is a marvel and has helped make people aware of exceptional content creators on YouTube like TheLivingTombstone, SaberSpark, AntonyC, DWK, PrinceWhatever, NRGPony, ToxicThunderCloud, Balddumborat and many many more.

I don't think I'm quite done animating ponies just yet (I've been sitting on remastering episode 17 of the Mentally Advanced Series). But I really do think I should branch out. I've got my eye on a few sea shanty type songs like "This Ship's going Down" and "The Mariner's Revenge". Heck, I've got one project that's 1/3 done that's a tribute to Foamy the Squirrel that uses my own voice track singing Randy Dandy Oh.
