Milo PRO Alcohol Marker Fieldtest

These markers were sent to me by Milo to compare against their Milo Art markers and for the purposes of review. No financial compensation was discussed or offered, and I received no payment for this review. All opinions are my own, and are based on my experience with alcohol markers. All Milo markers sent to me (Milo Pro and Milo Art) were donated to the St Charles Parish Public Library after reviews were completed, for public library patrons to check out, use and enjoy.

Milo Pro Art Marker Field Test

Colors Used:
From both 24 and 12 color sets

Colorless blender
143- Mint Blue
139- Flesh
46- Vivid Green
54- Veridian
71 Cobalt Blue
81 Deep Violet
91 Natural Oak
92 Chocolate
83 Lavendar
18 Peach
51 Dark Green

These seem less prone to bleeding than the Milo Art Markers, and handle fairly well and easily. Foam brushes maintain their tips, so it's easier to fill large and small areas. Included blender marker works well with these markers.

These colors are really blendable, and it's easy to do color gradiations, particularly with this brush tip. Bleeding is far less an issue than it was with the Art markers.

The Verdict:

Milo Pro Art markers handle a lot like the new Artist Loft markers, buth are much more affordable. For someone who likes brush markers, these are much easier to use than the Milo Art Markers, and handle more like professional alcohol markers on the market. I'd like to see refills and replacement nibs offered- then I could really put them on par with some of my other favorite alcohol markers.
