Changey Falls is 2 km walking distance from Lungchu Nature stay. By hiring a car you can visit nearby places like Lava Monastery, Lolegaon Hanging Bridge, Kolakham, Ryshope, Kalimpong, Delo Park, Cactus Garden, Rishikhola River, Aritar and Mulkharka Lake.

Food Options
Being a small village, there are no fancy restaurants in and around Lungchu. The best thing to do would be to eat at Lungchu Nature Stay Restaurant. Food served will be basic but delicious enough. The menu will consist of standard Indian dishes as well as some Chinese dishes.
Best time to visit Lungchu
Actually round the year you can visit Lungchu. The months of October to June are the best months to visit Lungchu to experience the panoramic view. But a lot will also depend on the reason for your trip. For example, if you were looking to find Kanchenjunga, you should plan in November to February. For enjoying lush green vistas; plan a trip in July, August or September.

লোকে বলে হিল স্টেশনে বর্ষাকালে যেতে নেই। আমি বরাবরই একটু অন্যরকম জায়গায় অন্যরকম ভাবে ঘুরতে ভালোবাসি। ইদানিং কলকাতার বর্ষার রূপ দেখে আর অফিস এর কাজের চাপ থেকে পালাতে এমন একটা জায়গা খুজছিলাম যেটা বেশি দূরেও হবে না আবার অফবিট ডেস্টিনেশন হবে, থাকবে না লোকের ভিড়, থাকবে না কোনো দোকান পাঠ।
অবশেষে পেলাম। লুংচু নেচার স্টে (Lungchu Nature Stay). গুগল পিকচার গুলো দেখেই প্রেমে পরে গেয়েছিলাম। ওখানে গিয়ে প্রেমটা আরো গভীর হলো। বর্ষার অপূর্ব দৃশ্য আর কুয়াশার মধ্যে নিজেকে অনেক দিন পর খুঁজে পেলাম।
সুন্দর বারান্দাটায় রিলাক্স চেয়ার এ বসে চা সহযোগে অপরূপ প্রাকৃতিক দৃশ্য উপভোগ করতে করতে কখন চারটে দিন পার হয়ে গেল টেরই পেলাম না। এরওপর উপরোক্ত পাওনা ছিলো অতি সুস্বাদু একেবারে বাঙালি ঘরোয়া রান্নার চমৎকার খাওয়াদাওয়া। কলকাতা থেকে এতো দূরে এসে এই ছোট্ট একটি পাহাড়ী গ্রাম লুংচু তে এইরকম আপ্পায়ন ও বাঙালি খাওয়ার পাবো এটা সত্যি আশাকরিনি।
আবার আসবো ফিরে .. এই ছোট্ট পাহাড়ী গ্রামে।
