Why I do YouTube:
First of all- its because I love to create Youtube videos. They give me great joy, purpose in life, and satisfaction that I am alive and life is so beautiful and has so much to offer. I just want to share this joy with this world but never intend in any form to influence someone. I'm a YouTuber but not an Influencer. I don’t want to change anyone, I don’t find enough time to change myself. I have a long way to go. I'm doing these videos to remind myself about what’s happening in my life, documenting it, and wanting people to smile when they see my videos (By the way that's the greatest joy/happiness I experience when I see someone laughing or smiling even when I'm not the reason, and when I am the reason haha - even more) I know that I'm a black sheep, a little out of the box of the constitution of the church. As a young boy, I joined the Franciscans in search of trying to find the meaning and purpose of life. Stayed on searching till today and music, friends, family and st Francis of Assisi helped me to continue my journey. At times when the church is sitting on a hot burning seat with various reasons behind it; people also view me along with their prejudices because of the `Churchly` picture I am wearing. BUT (in capitals) I want to be who I am, want to just follow st Francis who was such a simple man and said and did things which I love and are relevant for today’s world. May it be love for thy neighbor, treating animals and plants as your brothers and sisters. Although I am born in a Christian family, for me what most important thing is to be human and to become human. What drives me crazy are things hindering which bring people together - PEOPLE meaning -you may be of any religion, any caste, any denomination, any nationality, any color (by the way I'm black because of too much coffee), any gender - WE ARE ALL ONE AND WE NEED EACH OTHER. Through my videos, I want to inspire to see the other and myself as a human being. You may not do anything well, it is ok but please don’t do any bad to anyone (even in your wildest dreams ) ……
Often, people who belong to the church think I'm a crazy dude and people who don’t belong to the church think they don’t want to have anything to do with me. So am I nowhere? My only request is - Please see me as a human being. Through my videos, I am trying to prove that I'm, not a person fallen from the clouds up above just because I'm a priest. I'm, not a saint neither a sinner. I'm just like you struggling to get through this journey of life. I agree I wear the Franciscan habit (its not the karate dress as someone once asked me ) I agree I follow Jesus because of the things he said - love your neighbor / show your other cheek / be kind (is what Ellen DeGeneres always says at the end of her shows ). Let`s be joyful, positive and move ahead together ….. and let`s be kind to ourselves and everyone because we don’t know what the other person is going through.
