Joji & Diplo - The Making of...Daylight (Vevo Footnotes)
"Daylight" has a bit of a genesis story, with song ideas and industry relationships helping shape it along the way. Our Footnotes delivers all the background info, including Diplo's shoutout to Joji. "His performance really brought it to life." Director Munachi Osegbu has previously shot Megan Thee Stallion's "Big Ole Freak" and "Realer." He says he was going for a "late-90s boy band video" vibe.
