I've always loved the design of the BigWig. It's one of those Tamiyas that became a classic the moment it came out.
Here's some details about this 1/32 scale BigWig.
The original 1/32 buggy's weight is 40 grams.
The BigWig's weight is 60 grams.
The buggy version is very nervous and very fast. The BigWig, with it's 5mm longer chassis and extra 20 grams, is much more docile.
Steering is not proportional, throttle/reverse is. It doesn't have a brake.
About the BigWig bodyshell:
It's got 1 layer of primer, 3 layers of white and 3 layers of blue. Because the stickers have a matte finish, i've added 2 layers of clear laquer.
The clear laquer shouls also prevent the stickers from fading.
The structure underneath the sidepods mimic the BigWig chassis, and it gives some width to the underside.
