A young and beautiful volunteer nurse is drawn to the enigmatic Himmo, a mortally wounded and mutilated soldier who cannot speak or move in Jerusalem 1948.
Directed by the visionary Israeli filmmaker Amos Guttman, this deeply moving drama captures a hauntingly intimate story set against the turbulent backdrop of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Through a masterful exploration of desire, pain, and human connection, the film delves into the psychological toll of war and the complex bounds of empathy and devotion in a divided city.
