Heroes Square (Hősök tere) - 360 VR Tour in Budapest 4K

Heroes Square (in Hungarian "Hősök tere") is one of the most important symbolic places of Budapest. The UNESCO world heritage site is situated at the end of the Andrássy Avenue, close to Városliget (The City Park).

The monument was erected in the memory of the most famous Hungarian kings and heroes. The Corinthian column in the middle of the square dominates the place, overlooking the colonnade and the War Memorial. On the top of the column you can see Archangel Gabriel holding the holly crown of St. Stephen. In front of it is the War Memorial, erected in the memory of the heroes who died during the War of Independence.

Among other attractions nearby, you can notice the Museum of Fine Arts of Budapest and the Hall of Art. The museum is currently undergoing an exhaustive renovation process and it's closed to the public since 2018 and it's expected to open by mid 2020.

Also, nearby the square is the Vajdahunyad Castle and the largest ice rink in Europe, the City Park Ice Rink which in summer turns into a beautiful lake where people can make boat trips and relax.
