NARA – man
SIMHA – Lion. Together the term means "man-lion", mixed creature avatar of Vishnu
MAHA - great (or grand).
DEVAYA - =Devi (Deva) - God
ROOPAYA - image, Picture, vision, statue

● ▬▬ ☸ The purpose of the mantra ☸ ▬▬▬●
Narasimha (Sanskrit: नरसिंह IAST: Narasiṃha, lit. man-lion) is an avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, one who incarnates in the form of part lion and part man to destroy an evil, end religious persecution and calamity on Earth, thereby restoring Dharma.

The Vedas say that the person who glorifies the Lord Narasimha, will have a long life, his children will be healthy and beautiful. Victory will haunt the believer, and he will achieve anything you want.

Listening Narasimha mantra will protect from any manifestation of evil forces. Malicious demonic creatures will not have any effect and will be thrown away. The Lord Narasimha protects from any evil, whatever it was.

The Vedic process is to listen to Narasimha mantra every day at dawn, noon and sunset, or at least once a day. Repeating the names of Narasimha will find happiness, will attain liberation; for it opens the treasure hidden in the depths of the heart. You can also write Narasimha name on the palm leaf or on plain paper, put it in a metal capsule, and worn around the neck or wrist.

Narasimha legends are revered in Vaishnavism, but he is a popular deity beyond the Vaishnava tradition such as in Shaivism. He is celebrated in many regional Hindu temples, texts, performance arts and festivals such as Holika prior to the Hindu spring festival of colors called Holi. The oldest known artwork of Narasimha has been found at several sites across Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, such as at the Mathura archaelogical site. These have been variously dated between 2nd and 4th-century CE.

● ▬▬ ☸ How & When do I listen to? ☸ ▬▬▬●
RECITE OR JUST LISTEN?
First of all, a mantra is a special set of sounds that creates a resonance which affects our energy and our environment. So no matter whether you listen to the mantra or recite it, but the effect will be larger if while listening you will mentally repeat the mantra text.

The NUMBER of REPEATS: There is a certain number of times one needs to repeat the mantra, and this number must be a multiple of 9 or to be 108. And listen 108 times will be most effective. You can listen (recite) more than 108 times, but ensure that the number of repeats is a multiple of 9.

TIME: the Best effect mantras have in the morning and evening, especially before bedtime. If you are not at home, be sure to use headphones to avoid distracting external sounds.

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Try to be calm and relax your body while listening so the energy of the sound will have the maximum effect.

Do not use multiple mantras at once. Better to work deeper with one than the superficial several.

When the number of listening reaches a certain value, you will learn how to resolve many problems, will achieve harmony with yourself, improve relations with others, will better understand what is happening around you, and will be able to set yourself on the right mood in every situation.
