Gerry's Imaginarium: A Sneak Peak Behind-the-Scenes

"Gerry's Imaginarium", a brand new production by The Neighbourhood Follies runs from July 3-11 at Young People's Theatre for the Toronto Fringe KidsFest!

Gerry the architect is desperately in need of a creative boost when his encounter with a dancing sprite helps him to think outside the box. Will Gerry find the inspiration he needs to meet his deadline? Join us on a journey of music, movement and whimsy as he builds the theatre of his imagination.

Our story follows Gerry as he designs and builds a theatre over the course of the performance, all with the help of a dancing sprite and live musical score. Our show advocates for thinking outside the box and harnessing the connection between thinking and moving to solve creative problems. In addition to being an engaging interactive performance, we hope that our show can get kids (and adults alike) thinking about topics like architecture, design, and creative problem solving – some maybe for the first time.
