A quick escape to Siquijor last December 28-29, 2019
We opted to ask help from an agency and it was the best choice we made. The accomodation was at Gapnod Guesthouse, Lala-o, San Juan, Siquijor. Six people could fit the room, and there was only four of us, so it was spacious. Our room was adjacent to the beachfront. We had everything we need, from a working stove, refrigerator, kitchen utensils (laddles, frying pan, kalderos, knife, chopping board, cups, glasses, spoon and fork and plates of different sizes), and heater in the bathroom. They also had a bidet! We were able to buy at their local market which was a walking distance from our accom and can be reached by walking by the seaside. A lot of convenience stores were also near the location. Note: bring your own ecobags, they don't use plastics as much as possible. We were able to cook our own food for lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
We chose to take a multlicab as our mode of transportation, so we can experience the clean air of Siquijor. Our driver, Kuya Manny, was as smiling and patient as ever throughout the tour.
