FILIPINOS STILL ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN HUNGARY

WATCH: On Usapang OFW, Philippine Ambassador to Hungary Maria Elena Algabre clarified that Filipinos are still eligible to apply for employment opportunities in Hungary under residence permits for employment purposes.

She explained that only the “guest worker residence permit” was suspended, while direct hire arrangements remain open—though processing now takes longer.
