This is an education Video which is based on the completion of hundred years journey of television which started earlier In Late 18th century When First Time Nipkow disk patented in 1885 by Paul Gottlieb Nipkow.

It was a disc like CD having many holes of round shape placed at some distance, In a unique pattern. Just like the CD when the Nipkow disc was rotated and light Falls on it, it produces an image on the screen with the help of small projection.

This is the first time an image is obtained using disc although at that time Nipkow was not able to to demonstrate the entire phenomena but later on in 1920 the whole phenomena was used in the first television to produce an image on the screen.

John Logie Baird Started experimenting on the first television transmission set. After many experiments and with the help of other scientists he got succeeded to releasing the first experimental television set in 1920 which has many problems like failure of Transmission again and again moreover the noise in picture etc. This was the first television set in the world released in 1920 Having mechanical infrastructure.

The world's first television set was based on Nipkow disc To obtain the image onto the screen. The image obtained using this procedure Is calibrated in scanlines.
Scanlines are just like pixels in today's terminology. Having more scanlines means having a better image.
Later on experiments were performed to overcome the challenges that were faced during the 1920 version.
In 1928 General Electric religious and other television set that has 8 corners octagonal shape this television set has a small screen of a roundabout 3 inch this is also using the same Technology after rotating disc so this is also a mechanical television but With little improvements like changing the the shape of holes in disk from round to square and changed some electronic devices for the transmission improvement.

The Baird Televisor became the first television sold commercially in 1929.

The invention of the electric television by Philo Farnsworth soon made Baird and his mechanical television obsolete.
The electric TV offered a better resolution and was easier to mass produce.
The set uses a 30 line scanning disk, and is about 3 feet wide and two feet high. T
he image is about the size of a postage stamp.
In the 1930's, the Marconi 702 was a luxury item only the rich could afford.

The TV set sold for £100 ($130), which was half of an average annual salary in the 1930's.
A still-functioning Marconi 702 went up for auction in 2011 for thousands.

In a twist of fate, the original owner was only able to watch it a few hours before a nearby transmitter in London burned down. Picture wasn't restore until a decade later in 1946, according to "Time".

His Master's Voice or HMV combined both radio and television together in the 1930's.

The popularity of televisions like this Motorola Golden View boomed in the 1940's.

During this period prices of Television significantly dropped and more people are switched from Radios to Television.

Motorola's "Golden View" was the most popular 7-inch television in the late 1940's and early 1950's.
It came in both tabletop and portable cabinets and it was one of the cheapest TVs available at the time.
Motorola must have sold a boatload of these TVs, because they are still quite plentiful in the collector market, often priced under $100 for a set in decent condition.

Motorola uses Rectifier tubes like Inside the high-voltage cage is a transformer and the type 1B3GT high-voltage rectifier tube.

In the late 1940's, Broadcast stations started producing shows based on their radio serials for TVs such as the General Electric 807.
In the meanwhile NTSC standard is introduced.

The popular children's show of the decade was "The Howdy Doody Show." like that started which based on NTSC standards.

Four television networks – NBC, ABC, CBS, and DuMont – broadcast seven days a week, creating a prime-time schedule.

With more shows and technological improvements, TVs — like this Raytheon M 1601 — were more popular than ever in the 1950's.

I Love Lucy" was broadcast in almost every living room in America, reaching 67.3 million viewers. The first color television system began broadcast in 1953.

Companies continued to invent new technology such as the electronic remote control switch for the RCA Victor TV in 1960.

The Predicta Line was introduced by Philco in 1958. This model has a separate picture tube, connected to the receiver by a huge 25 foot cable.

The Sinclair Microvision was released in 1976, offering portable television for the first time.
