Downswing - Sever (Official Music Video)

Sever

Thereʼs a shadow of doubt that
lingers here
Corroding my bones and feeding on
fear
But thatʼs the price I pay for this
bed Iʼve made
What am I to do?
I was born to fucking lose
Company is a valued curse, just
expect the worst

Separate yourself from me
These are my thoughts coming clean
Now Iʼve got nothing left to say
walk away

Lost in the contrast of everything I
wanted most
But I saw your ghost and I watched it
choke on constant death throes
And if you want happiness you should
never count on me

Sever yourself from the hurt
Walk out of my life
Sever yourself from the hurt
Run while you can

Chorus

But what am I to do?
I was born to fucking lose

Sever

Sever yourself, run while you can
Sever yourself for all that I am
Forget the love that I have for you
Chalk it up cause I was born to lose
