Did Ancient Humans Mistake the Sky for Aliens?

Did ancient humans really see aliens — or are we misunderstanding the ancient world?

Long before airplanes, satellites, weather apps, or modern science, ancient humans looked up at the same sky we do. They saw meteors, comets, eclipses, strange lights, and patterns in the stars. To us, these events have names. To them, they may have felt terrifying, powerful, sacred, or impossible to explain.

But when modern people look at ancient art, strange symbols, or mysterious monuments, we sometimes jump to one answer: aliens.

This video looks at why ancient alien theories are so popular, what ancient humans may have actually seen, and why the real story might be even more interesting.

Maybe ancient humans did not need visitors from space to explain their world.

Maybe they were more observant, more imaginative, and more intelligent than we usually give them credit for.
