একটি ট্রেন কমলাপুর থেকে বিমানবন্দর যেতে পাড় হতে হয় ১১টি লেভেল ক্রসিং। আর এসময় প্রতিটি ক্রসিং এ গড়ে অন্তত পাঁচ মিনিট করে থেমে থাকে রাজপথ। সে হিসেবে একই সময়ে না হলেও কেবলমাত্র লেভেল ক্রসিং এর কারণেই প্রতিদিন ১১টি পয়েন্টে নষ্ট হচ্ছে কমপক্ষে ১০ কর্মঘণ্টা। অথচ ওভারপাসের সফল উদাহরণ থাকলেও সেদিকটা আমলে নিচ্ছেনা কেউ, আবার নেয়াও হয়নি বিকল্প কোন ব্যবস্থা। সেক্ষেত্রে স্থান ভেদে এখনই ভিন্ন পরিকল্পনার তাগিদ বিশেষজ্ঞদের। রাশেদ বাপ্পীর রিপোর্ট।
