Are Chance Englebert and Chris Loupin Missing Cases Tied To Each Other?

25 year old Chance Englebert, vanished without a trace on July 6th, 2019 while visiting family in Gering Nebraska. He has not been seen or heard from since. His family, friends and a large community have been working relentlessly to find him ever since. Chance is the Father of a newly born child Banks.

On November 17th, 2019 28 year old Chris Loupin of Kearney Nebraska was last seen at the 4 Seasons Campground North of Elm Creek. He was believed to be wearing shorts and a t-shirt at the time he disappeared, before major snowstorms that have since hit the area. It is not like Chris Loupin to just wander off and not show back up home. He is the Father of 3 girls and would not leave them.

Is it possible that these two cases are tied together in anyway? I’m not going say absolutely that they are, but let’s take a look at what they both have in common.

Both are young white men in their twenty’s

Both of these men are Fathers

Both disappeared within a 3 hour drive of each other in rural areas of Nebraska

Neither have been found, dead or alive with any evidence of a resting place. 

In each case a large search effort has been executed, including searching nearby water bodies that both went missing by. People do go missing all the time, and most of the time they turn up, even if found dead - but each of these cases seem to have gone cold in a sense with no major leads to follow. The cases occur roughly 4 months apart from each other, both within a days driving distance.

You may have heard of the Smiley Face killings where young men end up missing only to be found later dead in water. A smiley face will usually be found nearby. I am not suggesting by any means that these cases are the work of some kind of serial killer, but they do seem to fit the criteria in a number of ways. It’s important as we continue digging for new information that we keep both in mind, as well as other potential missing people in the area which there has sadly been no shortage of.
