A Powerful Folk Journey Through Life & Time

“The Descent of the Waters” by Mihai Eminescu becomes an emotional folk journey through nature, time and the passing of youth.

Born high in ancient mountains and majestic forests, the springs begin their journey with clear, youthful voices. They rush through stone, wander through the wilderness and slowly grow deeper and stronger, until they become a great river moving toward the bitter sea.

Behind this magnificent image of nature lies something profoundly human: the journey of life itself. As the waters grow deeper, their song changes — until they can no longer remember the sweet voice of their youth.

Warm acoustic guitars, expressive male vocals, wooden flute, deep drums and shimmering cymbals bring Eminescu’s poetry to life in a cinematic folk atmosphere filled with beauty, nostalgia and emotion.
