Jessica Mellinger, MD, MSc, presents a talk about the epidemiology of alcohol-associated liver disease (ALD) and alcohol use disorder in the United States, reasons for the rise in ALD, and challenges and opportunities in the fight against ALD. Dr. Mellinger is an assistant professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Michigan Medical School Department of Internal Medicine.
