1 जुलाई 2002, समय रात 8:10।
Moscow के Domodedovo इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट पर 45 बच्चों समेत कुल 60 यात्री Flight का इंतजार कर रहे थे। करीब 30 मिनट बाद 8:48 PM पर Bashkirian एयरलाइंस की फ्लाइट 2937 ने 60 यात्रियों तथा 9 क्रू मेंबर के साथ मास्को से बार्सिलोना जाने के लिए उड़ान भरी। इस प्लेन को 3000 किलोमीटर की दूरी 4 घंटे और 20 मिनट में तय करनी थी। 11:06 PM पर फ्लाइट 2937 ऑस्ट्रेलिया के ऊपर 36000 फिट के Altitude पर उड़ान भर रही थी। प्लेन में मौजूद सब लोग आश्वस्त थे कि 2 घंटे बाद वे बार्सिलोना पहुंच जाएंगे, लेकिन कोई नहीं जानता था कि उन से 600 किलोमीटर दूर उनकी मौत उड़ान के लिए तैयार हो रही थी। क्योंकि ठीक उसी समय एक DHL Flight 611 ने Bergamo से Brussels जाने के लिए उड़ान भरी। 11:33 PM पर दोनों प्लेन 36000 फीट के Altitude पर एक दूसरे से 44 किलोमीटर दूर थी तथा Sound की स्पीड से भी तेज गति से एक दूसरे की तरफ आ रही थी। लेकिन यहाँ समस्या यह थी कि दोनों प्लेंस का एयर रूट क्रॉस कर रहा था, यानी जिस स्पीड से दोनों प्लेन चल रही थी उसके अकॉर्डिंग स्विजरलैंड के ऊपर दोनों प्लेन आपस में टकरा सकती थी। जमीन से 35000 फीट ऊपर जब Airplanes की ये भयानक टक्कर हुयी होगी तो क्या हुवा होगा जानने के लिये Video को अंत तक देखिये।
